Subject: Homework!

  Audible voices... Yesterday I went home early from
work with a throbing head ache... as I was falling
asleep I heard voices in my head as if someone was
whispering into my ear.  There were two voices, both
male.  I remember one of them saying "Can you hear
us?"... I'm sure it wasn't any of my usual sgs.  It
was a fairly freaky experience.  I have a feeling that
atleast one of them was a nature spirit or a mortal
guardian for the area... hmm... Oh well... I just
wanted to share.  Even these small things that happen
need to be shared... sometimes there is an enormous
significance to something very simple.  Keep the
communication going!!

  I also wanted to say congrats to everyone for a
ritual well done.  Our connection ritual went
exceedingly well, we stayed cloaked and still
performed a powerful ritual.  Good job!  I can't wait
for the Equinox ritual... Remember - Equinox is the
time of the greatest balance of light and dark... good
and evil... passive and aggressive.  It is the most
powerful time to do a spell of manifest... an intent
to affect your physical life.  Observe the connection
between the physical and etheral in the upcoming month
- for we are also rolling into Samhain - the day the
Druid's believed the spirit and the physical world
were at their closest, the Catholic Jour Des mortes
(day of the dead), or as we know it - Halloween.  This
year I plan on doing one of the Druidic rites.  

  Time for a homework assignment... YEY!!  When we get
together and do ritual some powerful things happen,
that much is unquestionable - but HOW is it, do you
think, that when we visualize, light candles, and wave
our hands around - that these things happen?  I still
don't have a conclusion myself... but please share
thoughts.  Below are some ideas that I have.

A)  It's all in the Brain.   That's right... all that
we are doing is going through various motions that
imprent our subconsious with concepts that we choose
(similar to how Art and Music work).  However - it
doesn't end there, through our subconscious we can
control a part of brain we don't normally use or
understand - our psychic side.  Thus - what we are
doing doesn't cause direct results, but instead
influences our mind to create an end result.  Probably
my most scientific explanation - but there are some
huge holes in it.  It doesn't explain how I feel
"soul" connections to some people or my energetic ties
to people that I have never met (mainly the Avelendt).
 Also, it leaves out "entities" and other beings that
don't have brains, but I still can hear their voice.

B)  The layered reality.  Our universe can be broken
down into a series of layers(or frequencies - Brina
plug).  The physical, the mental, the emotional, and
the spiritual.  The physical is the world that we live
in... the atoms, the air, the ground.  The mental
being the next step up, also another world that we
connect well with - for we are incredibly sentient
beings.  The next layer up is the emotional.  This is
an often confusing layer for people - mainly because
we are now almost completely escaped from the rigid
structure of our physical world, and elevated from the
tangible mind - and now are left in a world that
influences our behavior, yet we still don't fully
comprehend.  And finally is the spiritual layer...
this is the abstract layer where high magic, religion,
the soul, the higher self.  As alive beings we are a
connection between all of these layers... having
physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies;
each influencing the others, yet all unique.  When we
are doing our energy work, we are exercising the
mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies of our
existence.  I will cut this explaination short, so I
don't bore you completely.

C)  We're all wacko!  As much as I wish it were true,
it really can't be.  Because I have SEEN flames fly
from candles... HEARD knocking and voices... FELT the
energy... SEEN the future... Broken through
coincidence into a the tenative world of the
unexplained.  Told someone their dream, and then told
them how the felt about me telling them.  We are not
crazy - unfortunetly.

D)  The matrix theory.  Free your mind from the rules
that have been instilled in it, and you can do great
things.  The idea that we are only limited by our own
contraints.  As soon as I believe I can fly, I can
fly.  Very popullar with wiccans.

E)  Alchemey.  By mixing a series of images, candles,
and stones we actually manifest our intent into the
world around us.  By altering fate, by making thoughts
in one persons mind echoed throughout the group.
